Davies, Craig Mechanical Thermatic Electric Fan Switch Combo (12V) - 0400

This kit combines Davies Craig's 0401 and 0409 kits for use in conjunction with Thermatic fans and Davies Craig electric water pumps.

The Thermatic fan switch is mounted near the radiator. There is no need to squeeze the probe between the top hose and radiator inlet. This kit allows easy installation into the top radiator hose. The fan switch is then connected to the ignition for simple operation.

The mechanical switch senses the coolant temperature after it passes through the engine block prior to entering the radiator and is fitted directly into the radiator hose via the adaptor. It is adjustable from 40-100 degrees Celsius. The kit comes with everything you need for a watertight and effective installation.

The inline sensor adaptor simply fits into your engine's top radiator hose. The adaptor ends for hose fitting are 35mm in size. Adaptor sleeves are included with the kit to suit larger diameter hoses (up to 42mm). Installation is a breeze - just fit the probe into the compression fitting, cut out about 17mm (2/3") of radiator hose, fit the adaptor between each hose and secure the hose clamps!

Can be used with a 24V fan via a suitable relay (not included).
