Returns & Refund Policy
At Ezy Auto Parts, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns and refunds work, and operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery or pickup, provided the item is:
- Unused, uninstalled, and in its original resale condition
- In the original undamaged packaging with all labels, manuals, and accessories
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
For change-of-mind returns:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Items That Cannot Be Returned for Change of Mind
For safety, hygiene, and warranty reasons, the following cannot be returned for change of mind once opened, fitted, or used (unless faulty):
- Electrical parts and components (e.g. sensors, ECUs, alternators, starters)
- Batteries that have been installed or activated
- Fluids, oils, chemicals, and aerosols
- Special-order or custom-ordered items
- Items sold as clearance, "as is", or second-hand
- Safety-critical items that have been fitted (e.g. airbags, brake components)
This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty or not as described.
Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, incorrect, or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the fault or issue
- Photos of the item and packaging (especially for transit damage)
For verified faulty, incorrect, or damaged items:
- We will cover return shipping costs.
- You may choose a replacement, repair, or refund in line with the ACL.
Warranty Claims
Many parts carry a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary by product and brand. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your proof of purchase and details of the fault. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitment, misuse, modification, accident, or normal wear and tear.
Fitment & Wrong Part
It is the customer's responsibility to confirm a part is correct for their vehicle before purchase. If you are unsure, contact our team with your vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN) before ordering. If we supply an incorrect part due to our error, we will cover the cost of return and replacement.
How to Request a Return
- Contact us at Info@ezyautoparts.com.au or 08 9249 3592 with your order number and reason for return.
- We will review your request and, if approved, provide return instructions and a return authorisation.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase.
- Send the item to, or drop it off at, our Malaga location.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method.
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
- Original shipping charges are only refunded where the item was faulty, incorrect, or damaged, or where required by law.
Return Shipping
- For change-of-mind returns, the customer pays return shipping.
- For faulty, incorrect, or damaged items, Ezy Auto Parts covers reasonable return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
